The Cardio-Pulmonary Physiotherapy at revered Shri Dharmastala Manjunatheswara College of Physiotherapy (SDMCPT)  Dharwad  is one of the most fascinating and recognized domain and is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi university of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bangalore, Karnataka. Academic admissions for both Undergraduate (UG) and Post-Graduate (PG) students are undertaken as per the university guidelines.

Cardio-Pulmonary Physiotherapy as a specialty has competent team and is sanctified with well- resourced unit for better learning and patient treatment and rehabilitation. UG and PG students are assigned with coordinators and elective guides respectively for their curriculum activities during the course of their study.  

Teaching Programmes:

The teaching program for UG and PG students of physiotherapy is as per the guidelines of RGUHS by specialized, elective and experienced staff. Students have extensive exposure for academic and clinical learning and are prepared for all sorts of academic and clinical reasoning through evidence based practices.
The UG schedule as per RGUHS benefits our students in various ways of personality development. Learning is in various forms like demonstration, clinical exposure, theoretical learning, reasoning of clinical conditions etc... Students are always motivated to take-up different tasks towards patient learning during their clinical hours.
Our PG students have the privilege to make utmost use of resources through-out their 2yrs of course duration. They are assigned with teaching, seminars, journal presentations, case presentations and dissertation work depending on evidence based practices and recent advances. All these aspects are monitored by the experienced postgraduate specialized teachers. Students have the opportunity to attend and participate in: CME’s, workshops, conferences, webinar and case discussion.
